1st Afro-Asian games (Year : 2003)  Hyderabad

   
   

The 1st AFRO ASIAN GAMES began with an awesome show that fittingly highlighted the majesty of two continents coming together in the sporting arena for the first time.
The controversies the trauma the suspense were all forgotten and for close to four hours the audience at the GMC Balayogi Stadium at Gachibowli was treated to an unforgettable show that went off with clockwork precision. From the moment the Skydivers of the Indian Air force touched down spot on till the last of the lasers and a dazzling array of PYROTECHNICS let up the Night Sky.

As the President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam declared the Afro Asian Games closed, the flame in the giant bowl opposite to the VIP stand dimmed and diminished. Instantly the night sky lit up in the brightness of the pyrotechnics display. Streaks of lights shot upwards from all sides of huge stadium, the seemingly never-ending fireworks leaving the arena engulfed in a haze of smoke.

32nd National Games (Year : 2002)  Hyderabad

   

The 32nd Edition of the National Games unfolded amidst colour pomp pageantry the razzle dazzle of spectacular Pyrotechnics & a heart throbbing music extravaganza all highlighting the spirit of sports & of India. This is the first time that the “Hyderabadi” had witnessed such a extravagant show at Home. It made the chest swell with Pride.

2nd West-Asian Games (Year : 2002) Kuwait

 

 

The fireworks were spectacular & the response from a vast gathering at the incomparable Eden Garden so overwhelming that even the Aussies at cricket Wills World Cup 1996 have felt the warmth. The saving grace of the Opening Ceremony was the spectacular firework display.
